A chemical engineer, Mr. Girdhar Saboo also holds a special interest in FMCG, hospitality and industrial chemicals. Mr. Saboo started Surya Salt under SSCL in the 1990s and has a rare high-level expertise in Indian FMCG - one of the most competitive markets in the world.

 

He is committed to maximizing SSCL shareholder value by entrenching the company within the most promising long-term sectors in India. Mr. Girdhar Saboo has been educated at the Mayo College, Ajmer and RVCE, Bangalore.
